These guys at the shop are a pleasure to work with and have to be the most honest people. Last time in I asked them to check the brakes on my Yukon and they could have told me something was wrong and charged me to fix, but instead they told me they could not find anything wrong with the brakes and I paid for my oil change and was on my way. This time they went above and beyond to explain my issue with my audi and went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied. I trust them completely and would recommend them to anyone.

I had my car inspected by another local mechanic shop who told me this weird engine sound I was having was from loose engine mounts. Then I was told that my water pump was bad and front struts. I was suspicious and thought I'd be better off getting a second opinion. Well another close shop I found was SSC. I spoke to George who was nice. I told him my issue and he did not even probe me to ask which shop told me that he just simply said to let me bring it in to at least make sure those things needed to be fixed. Well after only a couple hours I was called and told that mounts and water pump were fine and that actually my problem was bad front wheel bearings. I was nervous but gave the ok to fix it and shortly later in the day I was called to pick up the vehicle. I was scared the sound would still be there. I paid and then drove off trying to listen for it. IT WAS GONE!! I was so happy! They were great, they did not gloat or trash the other shop. Like I said they didn't even ask who told me that. Anyways, this was my first experience with this shop and I'll be going back to them in the future that's for sure!

I took my 2003 Trailblaser to SSC to investigate an air conditioner issue. Problem was it did not cool well at idle and low speeds. SSC investigated, added a touch of freon. Then explained that the problem could be the fan clutch, but the condenser coils were filthy, filled up with bug goo. Suggested I clean the coils myself and see how the air conditioner worked. If it was still not cooling, then bring it back and they would investigate the fan clutch further. I cleaned the coils and the air conditioner works fine. SSC could have ripped me off by charging for this and that, but they didn't. They are honest, hardworking folks who have all of my business.

Two friends recommended this shop to have a new engine installed in my Jeep. These folks offered the best price for the job. They only replaced what was necessary and didn't try to "Up Sell" more items. Quality of the job was excellent. I am totally pleased with this transaction. SSC now has all of my business.

This is my second visit to SSC. The first was for a lube-oil-filter only. This visit was more involved: repair front brakes and replace leaking water pump. I brought the vehicle in the night before, and SSC had the vehicle in, evaluated, and repaired by 1pm the following day. The work is done completely and not sloppily (like the dealership I've been using). They also charge a fair price that's competitive with other shops I've looked into for similar work. I have seen Adam treat the customer (myself included) with courtesy and respect - something that's lacking in many businesses.

I am thoroughly satisfied with SSC Auto Repair. They were extremely helpful from my first phone call until I picked up my car when it was completed. I even received a phone call 2 days after I picked it up to make sure my car was running properly. Thanks SSC Auto!!!
